Steve's 61st Birthday

Today is Steve's 61st Birthday! Yeah, Billy and Katie came over Sunday and celebrated. Katie made Steve a Cheese Cake (Sugar Free) and they brought him Viet Nam DVD's. The XM Radio we gave him for Father's day was for his birthday too. We cooked on the grill and the steaks were wonderful and the ribs delicious! (Steve is a great cook). Steve took a few days off and he seems to have enjoyed working around the house, fixing the shed door and all the misc things he has to rush on the weekends. Happy Birthday sweetie!

Yesterday Brittany (Granddaughter) called, she is in school in Stephenville, TX I was a little disappointed that her brother (Sergio) and she would not be able to visit on break. She hopes to come in October. She was worried about her Mom (Jakki) has a torn rotator cuff and her Dad (Hector) has kidney stones.....Its ok to be strong for patients but family is different. She has such a tendor heart....which makes you love her even more. She is still working full time and going to school....its nice to be young and have all that energy! HA!
